Postage & Returns

 

 Postage in 5 easy steps!

Step 1 – you place & pay for your order!

Postage in the UK is £7 and £17 internationally – “Whoa, that’s quite a lot” I hear you saying. Well art is not as cheap to post as a pair of trousers, or a kettle. It needs big heavy tubes to protect it, or layers of cardboard if it’s too small to roll. The packaging insures that your art gets to you safely!

Alternatively if you live in Sussex you can collect from Seaford by appointment only for free – email hello@boxbird.co.uk to arrange this. 

Step 2 – Alice packs & wraps your order with great love & care!

Each print needs a different type of packaging so one order will never look the same as another! We use recycled materials where possible too!

Step 3 – Alice posts your order at the local post office

Yep, I still walk down there – its gets me away from the computer for an hour! We always aim to post your order within 10 days of receiving your payment but with some items this may take longer if we need to print them.

Step 4 – A friendly local postman from the Royal Mail delivers your order.

It will come using a signed for service so if no one is home, or a neighbor is available to sign on your behalf then it will go to your local sorting office.

Step  5 – You enjoy your awesome purchase for the rest of your life!

Free Returns in the UK.

Please email us before you return an item or attempt to roll a print as it may be a tricky one and you may need some guidance before going ahead. If a print is rolled incorrectly you can permanently damage it and we would not be able to refund you.

So if you receive your artwork and you’re really not convinced it’s awesome then you can of course return it if your based in the UK. You have 20 days to return it in its tube or original packaging. (Sorry international shoppers, we are working on a way to offer international returns for free….)

Let us know in advance that you will be returning your item and we will refund your postage through Paypal. 

All orders must be returned in secure ridged packaging. If you have not packaged artwork correctly and it is damaged on it's way back to us then we will not refund you. 

Damages

If your order arrives damaged in the post take lots of photos of the packaging before you open it, then take lots of pictures of any damage caused to the print. Please email us with the details of damage, and photos. We deal with these on a case by case basis.
