Boxbird artist Hello Marine has teamed up with upholstery Studio Elizabeth Rose and created some stunning new textile designs for re-upholstered vintage and mid-century modern furniture. Marines’ Mexican inspired pattern is fantastic, and this new theme of inspiration flows through Marines latest body of prints.
Elizabeth specialises in reclaimed mid-century modern furniture and works with some sensational designers & illustrators to create unique collections of furniture. As well as Marines designs I love Rosie Moss’s dreamy space themed designs and Lou Taylors ‘Swimmers’ pattern.
I’m a strong believer that Illustration can play an important role within a home, textiles in particular is such a simple yet effective way to bring a room to life. From curtains to bed linen, cushions to ironing board covers!! Oh and don’t even get me started on the wonders of wallpaper!! Hmmm…I see an entirely new blog post evolving here…..
